Preamble

It is necessary to ensure quality of content. Because of search engines like Google, Bing etc., and readers love well written and optimized content. So, we are pleased to devise a policy for authors and content creators who are writing for Ideas Cascade (Website).

This” Author Policy” (the policy) covers at least minimum requirements for quality articles, blogs and other types of content. It answers following questions:

1. What should be the layout of a blog?
2. Which sort of information is needed for the creation of the profile of the author?
3. What would be the ethical considerations for content creators?
4. Do(s) and Don’t(s) for creating content!

In addition to the policy, the writers are required to understand and agree with our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Cookies Policy, Data Processing Agreement (DPA), Standard Contractual Clauses (SSC) and Disclaimer.

For the following clauses, the respective clauses of the Terms of Use are applicable and they shall prevail.

Ideas Cascade (the website), founded in 2022, is a blogging agency in niches of the emerging technologies like Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Virtual Reality etc., cryptocurrency, digital economy and web3. In addition to these topics, we also give a little bit of a glance on digital marketing, SEO, freelancing and entrepreneurship.

We manage portfolios of freelancers, writers and content creators mainly in the niches of Blockchain, cloud computing, web3, digital economy, cryptocurrency, Artificial intelligence, virtual reality and many other emerging topics / technologies.

Ideas Cascade (Private) Limited is a company limited by shares which is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan. Its registered office is located in Islamabad, Pakistan.

Applicability of Author Policy

Content creators, authors, ghost writers and portfolio freelancers who write for the website are required to accept the policy.

Here are some requirements to write with us:

Registration process

Registration is free of cost. Authors need to fill up a registration form, read and understand our author policy, privacy policy and terms of use. Before submitting the form, never forget to agree with our policies.

3. Fill up the registration form and submit.

Details of authors

Blog writers shall provide following information for their onboarding with us and creation of their profiles. Requirements have been enlisted here:

1. First and second name including full legal name and preferred name (pen name) for blog publishing.
2. Gender, email address and WhatsApp number (only for admin use).
3. Author bio and picture (which is optional).
4. Social media handles like Twitter (X), Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn (it is mandatory) etc.
5. Profile link of Tumblr, Medium, Flickr and Reddit.

Quality requirements for blogs / articles

Authors must comply with the following quality requirements:

1. Content is unique, 100% free plagiarism and 100% AI free.
2. Blog(s) contain proper headings & subheadings, facts, figures, statistics (if relevant), short paragraphs, simple sentences, and bullet point(s).
3. Blog(s) start with proper introduction and end with conclusion.
4. The frequently asked questions (FAQs) have been optimized as per search engine and they have also been added in the blogs.

SEO requirements for blogs / articles

Authors must comply with the following SEO requirements:

1. The frequently asked questions (FAQs) have been optimized as per search engine and they have also been added in the blogs.
2. Keywords like LSI, secondary and supportive have been included / embedded in the content.
3. Word count is 1000 to 2000 words. This word count does not cover title and FAQ(s).
4. Keyword density is to be kept within safe limits (2.00 to 2.50).

Formatting requirements for blogs / articles

Authors must comply with the following formatting requirements:

1. The font used is “Times New Roman”.
2. The font size is 12.
3. Headings and subheadings are in bold.

Ethical considerations

Author(s) must comply with these ethical requirements:

1. They do not copy content, ideas, visuals, art work and creativity of other content writers / creators. 
2. They are not using AI tools and ChatGPT to generate content.
3. They are not publishing the same content to other blogs, platforms (LinkedIn, Medium, HubPages, Forbes etc.) or even their personal blog.

Remember: Ideas Cascade does not compromise on content quality and ethics.

Responsibilities of Ideas Cascade

Under this policy, we have certain responsibilities towards the authors:

1. To assign keywords to the authors.
2. To manage portfolio(s) of freelancers, authors, content creators and writers as agreed with them.
3. To compensate authors whom we have committed for it.
4. To act fairly in accordance with privacy policy, author policy and terms of use.
5. To ensure protection of data in accordance with author policy, privacy policy, local laws, GDPR requirements, data protection agreement and globally accepted principles for the data protection.

Responsibilities of Author(s)

Under this policy, author(s) have certain responsibilities towards the website:

1. To write / create content on the assigned keywords as agreed.
2. To write / create a minimum quantity of content as agreed.
3. To send us content within agreed time frame.
4. To ensure quality of content as agreed under the policy.
5. To comply with this policy including ethical considerations, privacy policy and terms of use.
6. To act fairly in accordance with privacy policy, author policy and terms of use.
7. To provide accurate and correct information for the creation of their portfolio(s). 

Remember: In case of violation with aforementioned policies and applicable laws, Ideas Cascade reserves the right to delete the managed / hosted portfolio.
